We had a wonderful time staying at our cabin in Valle Crucis. Some of the family enjoyed skiing at 2 nearby ski resorts (Sugar & Beech). It was convenient to both and a perfect, quiet home away from home.

Spent couple days in Boone. Great time, cabin had EVERYTHING that was needed. Linens/towels included was a huge plus for the short stay we had. Cabin was comfortable, clean, relaxing. We will use this cabin again, no matter the season.
Only issue was dirty dishes in the dishwasher, which is the fault of the previous renters/cleaning crew.
The Best Cabin

I've been staying here for a week every spring for the past five or six years with a small group of friends. It's beautiful - the lack of dead animal heads in the decor is a big plus for us - on the end of the road that's closer to Boone, cozy but with room for us to spread out a bit. And the view from the back deck can't be beat. The last mile or so of the drive is a bit of a challenge, but it's well worth it.
Great Cabin, Great Location

Our family really enjoyed our weekend stay at Maroon Bells. We came up for our daughter's graduation from ASU, and the cabin fit our needs perfectly. The location can't be beat -- close to Boone, Banner Elk and Valle Crucis. The cabin was spotless, and everything worked great. The view off the back deck is lovely. We'd stay there again.

Maroon Bells is a fantastic cabin in a great place. Centrally located to many things, it is still a private place once you step out on the back deck and soak up the awesome views!
Adorable and great location.

We had a great stay here. The cabin was even cuter than the photos. It really was charming. The layout was nice and very good for 3 sets of adults. My only caution would be to put a small child or noisy snorer in the bedroom on the bottom floor, as sound really travels between the main floor and upper floor bedroom. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was just lovely.
Maroon Bells, hot tub and mountain views

We loved this remote cabin...yet close to Boone and Blowing Rock. So quiet and beautiful. The deck and hot tub with the views were well enjoyed. We even got to see a flying squirrel on the deck! The house is lovely. A few necessities could be provided such as paper toweling and Lysol wipes for the few unexpected cleaning needs. I don't think these things are expensive and I don't believe renters would abuse these items. Otherwise no complaints. All the staff that I spoke to were so pleasant and friendly.
Beautiful North Carolina

The property was in a great location to experience the North Carolina mountains. We loved the hot tub and the beautiful view. The rental company was quite easy to work with. Our main complaint that kept us from giving it an overall 5 rating was the dampness and smell of the lower bedroom. It was too musty for us to use it but we were fine in the upper two bedrooms. The lighting was dim for us and the grill was very rusty and very dirty. We would use the rental agency again but probably look for a different cabin with them.

Just needed some time away, and hubby and friend had some "bucket list" things to do. Perfect! Tried beers at lots of local breweries, shopped at Mast, ate at Stone Wall's (definite do-over!). Perfect cabin. Just woke up when we wanted, and sipped our coffee on the porch, watching the fog slide off the mountains.
