The house was perfect! Large enough for 3 families and we never felt too close! I can't say anything bad about the house! We were there during the “snow storm” it was freezing out but the house stayed warmed and had to cut the heaters off at times! Would definitely stay here again!!

This is a great house for a large group of family or friends. We had 3 families total and we were able to spread out throughout the house and each got to stay on a separate floor. It says that it is ski in/out, however, the ski slope that we were on was not open and the ski resort said that it has not been open for several years so I would check that before booking the house if you really want ski in/out. It is walking distance to the top of the mountain where the sky bar is located and all the lifts come together with great views. It is also a very short drive down to Beech mountain resort and restaurants. Great location and house overall!

You can't beat the view! You feel like you're at the top of the world, and it's a very unique and picturesque setting overlooking a beautiful western view over several mountain ranges. It's big and well stocked, with plenty of room for our party of seven.

So private and beautiful views from the top balcony. Although Oz run was closed, it is a short walk to the top of the lifts and the bar :). Second visit here and will return.

Awesome house, amazing views! Wish the run the house sits on was open when we stayed but it was closed so we had a little bit of a walk to the mountain / snow but all in all it was amazing!

We loved this property!! It was a beautiful house and beautiful location!! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We highly recommend this property!! We will definitely stay here again!!

Sky High Adventures is an amazing house and property! At the top of Beech Mountain, the views are absolutely beautiful. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals also amazing, easy to get a hold of and super helpful. I will be using them for my next mountain vacation. Thank you!!

This house was great for two families! The view was lovely, location perfect, the home is very user friendly. The kitchen has a great set up for cooking and eating. Loved that we could walk to the top of the slopes. Our kids made wonderful memories all over the property, building snow castles and sledding. Would highly recommend!

Matt's place was the perfect destination. Great location overall. The towns of Beech Mountain and nearby Sugar Mountain are quaint and very lovely during the Holidays. Plenty of places to eat/shop. Abundance of space for a family of 5 (w/3 teenagers). It was nice everyone having their own bedroom and bathroom! Kids really enjoyed the game room while we really enjoyed the fantastic views, watching wildlife (literally right outside your back door) and hot tub! They had added a few touches of Christmas throughout which was nice when traveling for the Holidays. For those visiting to ski, the only letdown was that the house is on Oz Run which was not open (late December) and is the last to open since it is south facing. So, while we did not get to enjoy true ski in/out, it was a quick walk to the lift/Sky Bar. The place is also a short drive to Sugar Mountain. Matt was quick to respond before, during and after the booking as needed and even mailed me a valuable item we left behind item. Overall this has been one of our favorite places to stay and we hope to return.

This was my second visit to Matt's. Place is very clean. The hot tube is an added bonus! Nice size kitchen with double ovens was very convenient. I will infidelity be visiting again in the spring if not before. There is a lot to do in the area.

This was a very kid friendly home with plenty of space and amenities for two families of 5. Beautiful area with plenty of hiking opportunities and things to do. Matt was a great host, very quick to respond, and offered great info on the area.

This house is great for a group trip! We checked it out for a night before booking for a football game weekend in the fall. SO much to do outdoors - hiking awesome trails, biking, fishing. We hope to come back to ski in the winter as well. Ideal for a group because the 3 levels have bedrooms and bathrooms spread out for privacy. Lots of room to spread out and great set up for hanging out in the living room and eating in kitchen and dining area. Onsite washer and dryer is a nice plus and lots of extra towels and bedding for sleeper sofas too. Hosts were helpful and responsive and have great manual with info and suggestions. Awesome restaurants and bars on Beech Mountain too. Great place to visit!

Beautiful property with stunning views. Would be ideal for a family trip or group trip with friends. The home was perfect for our group - plenty of room for us to have our own space with 4 private bedrooms and bathrooms and a great living area for gathering. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed for cooking and preparing meals. Perfect location at the top of Beech Mtn - beautiful views of the area and close to restaurants, bars, grocery, etc. We will definitely be back for cool fall weather and maybe even skiing in the winter!

Relaxing weekend in this beautiful, spacious mountain house with breath-taking views. Wonderful drive to the top of the mountain, great spot for any time of year. Located right on the ski slopes, so great rental during ski season too. We will book again!

Must stay when heading to NC mountains - year round! Beautiful, spacious home overlooking a unique scenery! Ski slopes right there, great restaurants, plenty for grandchildren to enjoy as well! We felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of by the hosts. Plenty to do for all ages if holding a family reunion. Thoroughly enjoyed our getaway!

I don't know where to begin - this place is amazing!!! The house itself is very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and private bathroom suits in all but one bedroom. The home is very comfortable and cozy, yet there are several areas for people to gather without feeling cramped. The playroom was a big hit with the kids! The views were absolutely breath-taking! Being able to see the sunset over the mountains & valleys from the Sky Bar was incredibly special and peaceful. I am dying to come back in the summer to try the mountain biking trails - having a chairlift to get back to the top is going to be great! And then this winter, I will definitely be coming back to ski! Being right on the ski run is incredibly convenient! Also, with having kids, it was very helpful to have extra towels and bedding, as well as a washer/dryer in the home! Thank you for spending so much time on the instructions - it made working the tvs and electronics much easier! Even my older parents were able to use everything! The drive up the mountain was beautiful and I was very relieved my two-wheel drive car was able to get to the top without any difficulty (during the late spring/early summer). I am so happy to have found this beautiful home in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. I cannot wait to come back for a much longer vacation (two weeks or even a month) to explore the area further - and enjoy even more of the activities! A weekend wasn't long enough! Thank you for such wonderful hospitality and being available / communicating as needed. It was a wonderful weekend and I cannot wait to return!!! Thank you so much for opening your home to us.
