Running Brook

Highly recommend staying here! Close enough to downtown Boone, but also very secluded. The house was great for a large group and the property was beautiful. Spent a lot of time enjoying the weather from the porch!

Our group had a great time, the house had enough space for the 8 of us! The location was amazing, close to several restaurants and the App ski resort, but still very private and secluded. The hosts were very nice and responsive to texts. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Wonderful house. Comfortable beds. We had a good time in the very secluded cabin.Very private. The home was very restful with a fully equipped kitchen. The road to the cabin needs a lot of work, lots of ruts. It was a little hard to find the home so arrive before dark so you can see signs. We would stay there again.Fun stay!!!!

We stayed here just for 2 nights but thought should have 2 more :). This is an old-style property but has everything you need. I mean what do you expect in a wooded property like this. All-natural, safe and quiet place. We would recommend this place. A good value for money you pay.

Very roomy and perfect For privacy and gatherings. Loved all the board games, hot tub and running brook under house. A beautiful scenic mountain get away that is becoming a family Thanksgiving tradition. So close to Boone too.. love love the location

Spacious, clean, well equipped. The perfect place for several families. We were able to spread out or come together as the situations presented themselves. Lots of extras. Definitively will return if given the opportunity.

So close to Boone yet so private and beautiful. The home was fully stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Loved the separate wing of bedrooms and jacuzzi tub inside and out. I will definitely recommend to family and friends. Would love to come back when the flowers are in bloom.

Blue Ridge staff members were so helpful and professional, and the rental property was exactly as described, and perfect for our vacation getaway. We would definitely recommend both BRMR and Running Brook!

My family booked this property for our Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful experience. Although a bit difficult to find (GPS does not locate the exact address so it took us to a house right down the street) we found the house very cozy and very well-stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and some used the hot tub as well. Although the house is remote, it is still close to grocery stores, a nice outlet mall, and plenty of restaurants. We were very lucky to have nice weather; if it would have snowed that weekend we probably would not have been able to make it up the steep road to get to the house. But everything turned out perfectly and we had a great time.

Awesome Family Getaway! The staff at Blue Ridge Mountain Rental were so nice and very helpful! I have been telling everyone I know to use them to help plan their next vacation. We rented Running Brook - and it was very clean, we had everything we needed. Very quiet and off to our self so the boys could roam and explore.

I had a great time at Running Brook - loved the setting and the creek and pond. Had all the comforts of home. Everything was clean and in working order. I really cannot think of anything to suggest re: improvements. I am sure I will be back for another visit.

Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin , we could not have asked for better accommodations. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything we could possibly need was provided for, it was perfect! The cabin was perfect, the only thing that could be improved would be the fire pit as it was rusted through but it did not stop us from having a fire anyway. You guys did an excellent job with my reservations and the directions were very accurate and easy to follow except when we passed the Food Lion leading to your office since we did not see it from the road the first time around. You can only see the Food Lion sign from the other direction, but we will know next time! Yup, we are planning to stay in the same cabin in the near future, it was a perfect family vacation place, close to everything and we all enjoyed the pond and stream that ran through it. Thank you again and I think it is safe to say that Running Brook will be the vacation place for us from now on!

I just wanted to tell you our two days at Running Brook were awesome. The house was perfect for us, we loved everything about it. We plan to be back regularly...always to Running Brook..if it is available. The owners and rental company have thought of every possible need of their guest at that house. . It was absolutely beautiful and relaxing there. Thank you!

Our experience was wonderful!! It was very family-oriented and definitely worth the cost. The house was really cozy and nice. Checking in and out was great!! Directions to the rental was given to us during check-in, and it was a great adventure to get to where we was staying. The experience that we had with the staff was really great and supportive. There was a pond that was stocked and we got to fish together. This home was very family-oriented, cozy, and welcoming. We definitely want to stay there again and very much enjoyed our stay. It was a great escape from everything for all of us!! We are definitely going to rent from them again, and we are looking forward to our next stay. We really did have a great time. I would love to plan to stay again next October 2014 at the same place. This was so much better than staying at a hotel, like we usually do.
