Cabin at a great location. Game room was wonderful. Grandkids were very impressed with the bunk room 5 of 6 slept in that room. We were sad to leave!

Despite the uncooperative fish, the kids really enjoyed attempting to fish. The river was peaceful and relaxing. A great getaway with the grandparents.

Nice large cabin near Boone (in Todd) this is our 3rd stay- the kids have plenty to do- large game room, hot tub, fire pit. Very nice

Our Christmas vacation was awesome. The Riverbend Retreat cabin was just what we were looking for. The cabin was roomy and cozy. Christmas decorations and a beautiful tree was placed in the cabin. We are looking forward to our next adventure.

We had a wonderful time at the Riverbend Retreat! The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The view of the river in the back was so soothing and gorgeous to look at. The location is so nice, you feel as though you are in a remote area, but easily accessible to town. We did catch a few trout in the back yard and up the road by the bridge. While we visited in the winter months, this would be a supreme location to stay in the summertime! Overall, we were very pleased and would love to return!

Went on a trip with my brother and some friends and we loved the place! Had everything you could need. We enjoyed the game room and fire pit! It's close to Boone and some other cities if you want to get out and about. Definitely recommend!

The property had plenty of room for the kids to play and the river was a huge plus. The kids enjoyed playing in it and the adults enjoyed fishing. The house was just right for our family with plenty of entertainment and space. Highly recommend!

After losing a couple of loved ones this summer, my husband, sister and some close friends and I really needed to catch our breath and relax. River Bend was just the place. We hiked all over the area, and enjoyed the cabin too. We cooked in most of our meals and used the fire pit and hot tub too. Had trouble getting in at first, but was quickly helped by rental staff. Had a couple of other issues, that were also quickly addressed. Would definitely like to stay again in the future.

4 siblings and their spouses stayed for a fabulous, relaxing weekend. Being able to sit by the river and fire pit each night (and much of the day) to talk and laugh was fabulous. A trip one day into Boone and another to Old Barn Winery made this a perfect getaway.

The family and I had a great stay at Riverbend. Plenty of room to spread out, excellent amenities, lots to do inside and outside (or to just sit and watch the birds, listen to the wind, and watch the river flow by.) Good fishing spots are easily accessible and launching the canoe and kayaks are easy (just make sure you have a plan to retrieve them downstream after your paddle). Great cabin!

We were used to another house we rented several times, and was disappointed the price went up and that it wasn't available...we searched and found one that was INCREDIBLE! The booking was done easily, and even after we had to change the reservation, the staff was more than accommodating. We own our own business, and customer service is important to us, it's very obvious that it's important to BRMR as well, WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We had such a great time. This is such a beautiful peaceful place. Everything you need and more. Just as described. A lot of little special touches added by the owners made it better than anywhere we have rented /stayed in the past. Definitely would stay here again.

If a rustic quiet getaway is what you're looking for, this is the place! Took our family there and not one complaint from any teenager/young adult because there were endless activities right under your roof and right out your backdoor! We loved it.

We stayed for a weekend, 2 families with 4 kids between us. The house was comfortable and well appointed. We particularly appreciated canoes, kayaks, life jackets, bikes (we never used b/c there wasn't time), the hot tub and the river. So much to do without going anywhere. A great stay!

The reservation and check-in process was very simple and streamlined. I had several questions and I was answered back within 24 hours each time. As for the home itself it was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed to have a great time. The home was clean, water pressure was great and the wifi was fast, although with the beautiful surroundings it was rarely used! We brought our own kayaks and also used the two at the house as well. We spent a lot of time in the yard and on the river. The house is located about 20-25 minutes from Boone. I would highly reccomended staying at Riverbend Retreat. Our party ranged in age from 11-75 and we all had a great time!

Easy check in and check out process. Abundance amenities for families for kids. Board game closet, hot tub, and full size basement with gaming options from pool, fooseball, and air hockey. Large enough to accommodate our party of 9. Beautiful views of the river in the mountain valley.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. the river behind the cabin coupled with the fire pit provided a level of peace that I don't think I've ever experienced. The owners were also super responsive no matter what time I reached out to them. DEFINITELY will be staying with them again in the future. Highly recommend!

This house had everything! It was clean, had enough supplies (paper, towels, soap, etc.) for a long weekend. Plus, the basement was full of fun things for kids of all ages! Having the River right behind was a HUGE bonus. Tip: bring some innertubes or something to float in the river- the only thing the house didn't provide! Water shoes would be helpful too as the river was rocky. There wasn't much around so everything was at least 20 minutes away. But lots to see on the way in and the way out. We would go back for sure!

Our family of 5 genuinely enjoyed everything about this cabin in Todd, NC and would recommend it to anyone. We had plenty of space and spent a lot of time in the basement enjoying almost limitless fun and games down there. You could tell the owner and rental company kept the house in top condition and didn't cut corners like some do. Having the river right there in the front of the property was so nice. We drove up river a bit, loaded kayaks and enjoyed about an hour slow paddle and float down to the cabin. It was perfect. The last night, we decided to give the hot tub a try and it did not disappoint!! It looked brand new and did was not an old model like you sometimes see at rental properties. I can't imagine anyone renting this cabin not thoroughly enjoying every day there. Thanks!

My 3 sisters and I stayed at Riverbend Retreat for a week for our annual sisters trip .we had an absolutely wonderful time. This house is beautiful inside and out. Loved sitting on the porch watching and listening to the River.House is very well stocked with everything you would need to stay there. So peaceful and quiet here. We visited Boone and West Jefferson. We made a fire and made s’mores. At The Riverside Restaurant right down the road, we had a wonderful breakfast. I would definitely recommend this house. This is a great little spot on the New River. It is very tranquil and beautiful. The kids and teens really enjoyed the game room downstairs as well as the hot tub on the back deck. I loved sitting out back and just listening to the river. The kitchen was also well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc... We had everything we needed to cook meals and make coffee.

This cabin was the perfect spot for our family of 8. We were surprised when we drove up to the cabin to find a decorated porch and a beautiful Christmas tree. We were previously informed that the house wasn't decorated for Christmas. Ms. Cindy with Blue Ridge made sure our children would have a beautiful tree. It was unexpected and tremendously appreciated. That made our trip and experience perfect! We are so grateful. We highly recommend this cabin. It was fully stocked with everything we needed.

We loved this house. So much to do for everyone! Loved hearing the River while outside. Peaceful area and easy to get to, would not need 4wd. Limited parking space is really the only downfall for the cabin but you can squeeze in 4 small to midsize vehicles. Great location to West Jefferson and Boone! We will be back to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed the home and the river! The house was clean and well stocked with games for the kids. The river provided fantastic fishing and fun, and we played pool and cornhole in the evenings, with a soak or two in the hot tub overlooking the river to relax. Would certainly go again!

Couldn't have asked for more! Property was exactly as listed, maybe even better because the equipment and games downstairs were excellent. We didn't need to bring anything to keep us entertained. We LOVED the property and had coffee on the deck overlooking the river every morning and a campfire on the spacious lawn every evening. Our group loved tubing and getting out of the river right at the property. It was easy to get to Boone for supplies and shopping. We enjoyed hiking at Elk Knob State Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains - both an easy drive. After a strenuous day, it was amazing to relax in the hot tub. Five stars for sure!

This place is a gem. The little river in the back with fire pit is so relaxing. The water calls you. The outdoor furniture is very nice. The game room is top quality. House is beautiful with fast internet. Will definitely rent again.

Awesome location, awesome cabin, great and rapid communication. When arriving the bottom lock was not left unlocked so even though the code worked the door would not open. Incident was addressed and fixed super fast, response was instant even though it was late at night. The cabin was clean, it was stocked with everything we needed for the full week we were there, and the location was amazing. Thank you so much for making this trip so worth it. Will definitely be using Blue Ridge Cabins in the future, I will be making this a yearly trip!

Property was very clean, lots of fun features! We enjoyed the pool table, foosball, cornhole, basketball and air hockey. It was too chilly to swim in the river, but loved sitting by the firepit on the shoreline. Nice quiet location.
