Mitchell 202 at Blue Ridge Mountain Club

This is an absolutely perfect spot for a “girls” getaway (we haven't been girls for several years). From morning coffee on the deck watching the sunrise to a glass of wine around the fire pit watching the sunset we had a wonderful time. Blowing Rock is such a charming town and the Blue Ridge Parkway has so many beautiful spots to hike or just pull over and take in the scenery. Already planning for next year.

We planned their trip on a whim but it turned out to be our favorite places. We drove up in some snow, which was a little scary but once we were here everything was perfect. This place is spectacular. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We really appreciate the "extras" too (i.e. spices, laundry detergent, coffee). We enjoyed BRMC facilities and ate at the restaurant, used the fitness center, walked the trails and even toured some properties. We are considering buying a place here some day! We stayed at this property from 7/25-8/1/20. We loved every minute! The condo is spacious, well-equipped and has two decks with beautiful mountain views. We watched the spectacular sunrise and even saw a double rainbow over the mountains at sunset one evening. The community is lovely. Many hiking trails. We hiked to the Blue Hole one day. And hiked around the property several times. We had several nice dinners at the Lookout Grill. My family did cycle class, held outside with mountain views, a few mornings. We visited Boone and Blowing Rock (about a half-hour drive from the condo). We went kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding down the New River. It was a great week. And the best part....we have a kid about to start school at Appalachian State in a couple of weeks. So, we will definitely return to this rental property again!!!! :)

I am assuming 5 stars is the best, because this condo and BRMC is THE BEST!! We enjoyed our stay very much. Everyone was very attentive and communication was excellent before we arrived of what we needed to bring etc. Everything in the condo was beautiful and in excellent working order...and the view...and the sunrise...amazing! We brought our twins here for a post holiday and birthday getaway. This beautiful place is, by far, the best NC retreat we've stayed at! Everything was perfect! The "cabin" (as the kids called it) was stocked with absolutely everything we needed, fabulously decorated and filled with such comfort. The views were breathtaking and we loved waking up to the exquisite sunrises. I can't even begin to share all the special and unforgettable memories we made here! Lancasters and Alligoods enjoyed this beautiful home! The views, trails and shooting range provided great entertainment. The on site Look Out provided a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and the pork meal is fabulous! Blowing Rock and Boone are close enough to enjoy their amenities.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful condo. We drove through the night and arrived an hour before the most beautiful sunrise we have ever seen. We enjoyed meals on the deck, hiked the nearby trails and rode our motorcycle on the parkway. It was one of the best trips we have ever taken and we most definitely will be back. Highly recommend BRMC and Condo 202. Beautifully furnished, very comfortable and relaxing. The fact that it was 2 floors was very nice for our family of 5. My wife and I still felt like we "got away" and our 3 kids ages 9 and under had their own space downstairs to read, watch some TV, etc. The decks are absolutely awesome and have great long-range views. It's a great launching point for all BRMC has to offer. I'd recommend renting an ATV while there to explore the trails, creeks, blue hole, etc. With the new restaurant and fitness center near the condo the location was perfect.
