Little Cubs Cabin at Eagles Nest

What a great spring break trip for our family of 5. Eagles Nest is a great mountain community, and we loved Little Cubs Cabin. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Cabin! The directions that were provided were very clear. Very prompt responses when I had questions. We all loved the scenery, quiet neighborhood, the trails, and how warm/welcoming the cabin felt. Some of our favorites were the hot tub, the foosball table, and the beautiful scenery of the neighborhood. Would love to make this a yearly visit.

We had an awesome time at Little Cub Cabin and the responsive, flexible, and prompt service by Blue Ridge was 2nd to none. We rented the cottage for 3+ weeks and had multiple groups rotating thru and Blue Ridge was so helpful and accommodating. From helping us select the best cottage to helping all our needs. Could not have been better. The cottage was better than described.

This was our second time staying at Eagles Nest, and all I can say is that if you are looking for a family destination in the North Carolina mountains you won't do any better than Eagles Nest. The amenities here are absolutely first class. And this house we stayed in made our week that much more enjoyable - it was clean, modern and readily met all our needs. And I will say that of the many times I have rented a STR, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, which manages this specific property, is as good as they come. They are quick to answer and respond to any issues, and they provide a lot of detailed information on the property that makes the stay that much more enjoyable. One caveat on this property - it is not as secluded as some of the other properties in Eagles Nest. And while this didn't bother us, any potential neighbors will be quite close. And while the property is a bit of a drive from the Eagles Nest main entrance, it is also very close (within walking distance) to some of the best amenities in the development - namely North Pavilion and the Eagles Nest winery. An awesome stay, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed for a long weekend, hoping to enjoy some skiing, but Mother Nature wasn’t in our favor. The house was well equipped, lots of entertainment for the kids, kitchen was stocked and furniture all very comfortable. The house was very clean and a perfect house for two families with kids. The drive was a long one once you got inside the neighborhood so prepare for some windy roads. Great stay overall!

We came up for a long weekend to relax and your cabin was exactly what we needed. From the arcade games, air hockey and foosball upstairs to the comfy couch downstairs - your home had something for all of us. thank you for sharing your home with us. The best treat was waking up to snow on Sunday our girls were so excited. We recommend your home to anyone needing to get away from the hustle and bustle. We hope ot be back! We had a wonderful time at your cabin! It was very cozy using the fireplace in the evenings and we enjoyed the close proximity to the basketball court and hiking trails. The weather was amazing for our visit. We even had a bear attempt to check out the trash can, but thankfully all it did was knock it over and leave some sizable prints in your mulch. We appreciate how famiy friendly and pet friendly this cabin is. Overall, a great trip to Eagles Nest!

Your home is stunning We are owners, building right now and can't wait to spend the summers and holidays up here in the greatest place on a mountain! Your neighbors are the reason why we purchased here. My husband worked with them back in Palm Beach and we came to visit them, and fell in LOVE! Hope we get to connect soon. We enjoyed hiking trails just steps from the home and the Sportsmans lodge has a great fireplace to enjoy!! Air hockey and foosball were a huge hit. The paddles were broken but the rental group has new ones delivered in just a few hours!!

A wonderful stay in your beautiful cabin! The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the Great Camp, winery, a wonderful 4th of July celebration and the lodge. Eagles Nest is such a great family destination, will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful trip and time in our Blue Ridge Mountain rental! We will definitely be booking with them again in the future. Everything was seamless. They were super informative and we had everything we could need or want the entire weekend. From directions to checkout everything was super helpful and professional. What a great week we've had! We love your beautiful cabin - you thought of everything.We were well stocked and didn't need a thing! Some of our favorite things during our time in North Carolina - awesome hot tub and fire pit, mountain views, winery, Saturday night fun at the Great Camp with live music, pizza and drinks, white water rafting, hiking and exploring, ATV fun, spending time with our family. Our family of 5 was very happy staying here and we loved being near to our other family members (grandma and grandpa, aunts and uncle, aunts, cousins) This is a wonderful spot for a multi-generational getaway. Loved the slower pace and enjoying God's magnificent creation!

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We loved the property and had a great time exploring the Eagles Nest neighborhood. Hot tub was delightful. We loved hiking, the winery, and The Sportsman Lodge being so close by. We were bummed the weather went from forecasted 3-6" snow to 65 and sunny. Turns out it was still fun skiing in our t-shirts. Having a toddler with us, I really, really thank you for how kid friendly this house is! Made us all relax a bit more.

Wonderful cabin! What a hidden gem up here near Banner Elk. We did not know how much we needed this getaway until we got here. Our 2 kids loved the bunk room complete with TV and Video games - how fun! Even the grown-ups loved the game tables and old time video games. We explored the hiking trails, loved the sports court at North Pavilion and of course the fire pit and hot tub were a huge hit. We explored Linville and Grandfather Mtn - overall a wonderful trip to the High Country. Thank you for opening your home to us.

What a wonderful cabin! Our family has had the best time here. We rent a cabin in this area every fall and our boys (12 & 10) said this has been their favorite. We hope to get back in the summer. We enjoyed the trails, biking, basketball, the fire pit and the hot tub. And the views at The Sportsman Lodge are incredible. Enjoyed watching the sunrise here. Our boys (and mom & dad) loved the games and we had fun playing as a family. The house was clean and cozy. A perfect getaway, in fact, we stayed an extra night. ?

This place is simply stunning. The rental (Little Cub) was perfect for our family. It was well appointed and clean, and we liked how the kids/teens could sleep and hang out upstairs with the game area available to them. A very efficient use of space overall. I'd recommend renting the ATV's for the whole time you are there as it's the best way to explore and generally get around. The hiking was just the right amount of challenging for our family, and the sports courts were a big hit too.

Little Cubs cabin is a MUST if you're visiting Eagle's Nest / Banner Elk! It was a perfect setting for our getaway. The home is just beautiful, all amenities that you could want for young and young at heart. Superbly clean and very well appointed—a perfect home away from home!

We had a wonderful time here at Little Cubs Cabin and were so thankful for a week away after a summer of staying close to home due to COVID. Our kids (7,4,2) loved playing out back, making s'mores on the fire pit and "swimming" in the hot tub. ? They also loved the bunk beds and games upstairs. What a lovely home... we appreciated how clean and welcoming it was!! We are leaving with many special memories. ??
