Went for my Birthday weekend. All girls trip!! We had a great stay. The location was convenient. We felt completely safe the entire trip. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cabin! We arrived a little after dark and it was a little difficult seeing while going up the hill after all of the rain but we made it! The hot tub was waiting on us when we got there and was amazing in the cold weather! Had an amazing time! We grilled steaks the first night there and enjoyed the playing foosball also!

Amazing house with a phenomenal view. Amenities were top quality and everything was super clean. Close enough to Blowing Rock for dinner and activities, but tucked away enough for peace and quiet. 10/10!

Enjoyed the views and spacious decks. The internet was adequate for two kids to do virtual school while we were visiting. House is a short drive to downtown, but feels completely isolated once you are home. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

My family and I love the cabin's beautiful open-floor plan, which allows us to easily communicate with each other from any room. The deck off the master bed is perfect place for our morning coffee and reflection. We hung out there before going on our daily hikes and water activities. Thank you for providing this lovely place for us to stay in while visiting the mountains! We are looking forward for our return in the Fall

Very impressed with the service and the lodging with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals! They made reserving and checking in and out a breeze! Chestnut Lodge was gorgeous and well-equipped with a great view. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The Lodge and its surroundings and amenities were everything that we required to enjoy our twins 17 th birthday celebration! I appreciated the cleanliness and order. My kids simply loved the beauty of the Lodge itself. They enjoyed zip lining and the wonderful meal we had at a well known eatery.
We hope to rent again in the near future, the mountains are spectacular.

We stayed at Chestnut Lodge in Boone, NC in late June 2019. I found the house to be equipped as-advertised, perfectly cleaned, and ideally prepped for our stay.
Likewise, all my interactions with Blue Ridge were pleasant. They responded to my emails quickly, and did everything expected to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

Wonderful experience with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. This was the first time we had used them for renting a house, and we would absolutely do it again. The house was clean, beautiful, and exceeded our expectations. Had one glitch with the instructions for how to remove the cover on the hot tub, but they immediately responded to our email with the steps required.

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals were wonderful to work with. I called to make my reservation over the phone and they were very courteous and patient with my questions. They allowed us to check in and out at the cabin even though it was an old fashioned key and not a code. We stayed at the Chesnut Lodge cabin and it far exceeded its description. It was very clean and well maintained. The views were beautiful. We traveled with three couples and children. We loved that every room had its own bathroom. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and we never felt cramped. We would rent again!!

The chestnut lodge had the most beautiful view. Every guest room had its own bathroom. We spent time in the hot tub and enjoyed the gas fireplace. We will be back again! Thank you also to blue mountain rentals for their guidance on which rental suited our needs the best!

We had a wonderful experience at Chestnut Lodge. It was one of the most relaxing weekends we've had in a long time. We spent most of the lazy hours in from of the fireplace with wonderful friends and family. The set up was perfect with other family we joined in Boone. We also went skiing at Appalachian Mountain Ski lodge, which was fairly close, and also hit up Hawksnest. Boone has a great atmosphere with fun dining and shops. We will definitely do it again! Thank you for having a great place for us to rest our tired bones!! :)

We were happily surprised by the size, condition, and location of the house. We will definetely rent again, maybe for another week/weekend in the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will be back next year!

Everything was wonderful. This is a beautiful cabin and certainly not "roughing it". When nothing else was going on I could watch TV or sit on the 180 degree porch that overlooked the mountain side. The kitchen is fully equipped. there is a washer/dryer should you need one. And the place is absolutely clean clean clean. This is the 4th time we stayed and we will be back next spring.

The Chestnut Lodge was a comfortable, clean and spacious house and we loved it. Each bedroom had a bathroom which was great for us and the living area was so comfortable. The house was located on a very high mountain and the road leading up to it was a little off the beaten trail, but not too bad. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals were a pleasure to work with. Would definitely use them again!
