The house was beautiful and fresh. The view from the back porch was just perfect! We loved the honing trail just right across the street from the neighborhood.

My family and I recently stayed at Blue Ridge Sanctuary and had a wonderful experience. We're already looking forward to our next stay here! The house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed (and ones we appreciated even if we didn't use them this time - like the slow cooker) and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The sojo amenity kits were a nice touch. We especially loved the outdoor space, which on the main level included a patio, grill, and comfortable seating area, and on the lower level, a hot tub and seating. Our host was very responsive and made us feel right at home. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable house called the Blue Ridge Sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountain Club, and I must say, it was an experience like no other. We were greeted at the front gate and handed a welcome pack with everything we needed to know about the club and instructions for their own personal app. The app gave information about where to eat, menus, events, shooting and rental information and even trail maps. From the moment I stepped foot into the property until the moment I reluctantly departed, I was blown away by the pristine condition and captivating beauty that surrounded me. First and foremost, I must commend the impeccable cleanliness of the house. It was evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. Every nook and cranny were spotless, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the house. I also want to highlight the thoughtful amenities provided at the house, which added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. The attention to detail extended to the bathroom, where I found a collection of high-quality toiletries. The little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and makeup remover towelettes were a delightful surprise. Not only were they beautifully presented, but they also exceeded my expectations in terms of their quality. The furnishings were tastefully arranged and exuded an air of comfort and elegance, making me feel instantly at ease. The house itself was a true oasis in the mountains. Nestled amidst nature's splendor, it offered breathtaking views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Each morning, I would wake up to the soft glow of the sunrise, casting a warm golden hue over the peaks. The panoramic vista was like a painting come to life, and I found myself losing track of time while simply gazing out of the expansive windows. My husband's favorite spot was out on the porch. He would light a fire at the outdoor patio fireplace and sit with a book and read for what seemed like hours, but it turned out he was napping and not reading. The Mountain View was truly mesmerizing. The rolling hills, covered in a patchwork of vibrant green foliage, stretched as far as the eye could see. The majesty of nature was on full display, and it was impossible not to feel a deep sense of serenity and gratitude in the presence of such breathtaking beauty. Speaking of breathtaking views, I cannot forget the view from downstairs at the jacuzzi area. It was pure bliss that provided an oasis to unwind, soak away any fatigue, and allow the worries of everyday life to melt away. The jacuzzi was meticulously maintained and offered a private retreat amidst the picturesque surroundings. The combination of the invigorating jets and the breathtaking landscape created a truly unforgettable experience. I must not forget to mention the exceptional comfort of the king-size beds in this house. After a day of exploration, sinking into the plushness of the bed was like being enveloped in a cloud. As mentioned above… it is all about the details. The attention to detail extended to every aspect of the sleeping experience. From the plush pillows to the high-quality duvets, I felt pampered and cocooned in luxury. The thoughtfulness put into ensuring a good night's sleep was evident, and it made a significant difference in my overall satisfaction with the stay. Furthermore, I was particularly impressed with the management's swift response when an unforeseen circumstance came to pass. The air conditioning unit upstairs was not coming on and we weren't sure what we were doing wrong. I immediately contacted the management via text to inform them about the issue we were having and told them it was no rush because the weather was immaculate. To my surprise, they promptly dispatched a maintenance technician to assess the problem. Not only did they resolve the issue efficiently, but the management also ensured that we were comfortable and satisfied throughout the process. Their quick response demonstrated their ability to handle unexpected situations promptly. It was also evident that they prioritize guest comfort and take pride in maintaining a well-functioning and enjoyable environment for their guests. Kudos to the management for their exceptional service and attention to detail. The Blue Ridge Mountain Club itself is a hidden gem. I had never heard of it before our stay. The surrounding trails provided ample opportunities for exploration, and we spent our days hiking, we had Father's Day Brunch at the Lookout Grill, and immersed ourselves in the tranquil sounds of nature, all while capturing photos of deer as the passed us by throughout our week stay. The peacefulness of the area was a welcomed respite from the bustle of everyday life, allowing us all to recharge and reconnect with the natural world. Moreover, traveling with teenagers, we found the availability of WiFi to be an excellent addition to our stay. While our primary purpose was to enjoy a respite with nature, we also recognized the importance of staying connected digitally. Having WiFi enabled us to effortlessly stay connected with our friends and family back home, quickly check and respond to work emails (because some of us are built that way). It ensured peace of mind for everyone. It also allowed the teenagers to remain engaged with their online activities and interests during downtime. The fast and stable internet connection catered to their digital needs, providing a sense of familiarity and comfort even amidst the serene natural surroundings. I could go on and on about this place. The overall experience was nothing short of remarkable. The combination of the house's immaculate cleanliness, the captivating Mountain View, and the “SANCTUARY” of the Blue Ridge Mountain Club (which is why I am guessing they picked the name) created an unforgettable stay. There was construction happening in the area, and it didn't disrupt our stay… we never heard a thing. I cannot imagine what the place will be like once The Meadows community at Blue Ridge Mountain Club is all complete. I would highly recommend this beautiful retreat to anyone seeking an escape in the embrace of nature's beauty. Thank you to the owners for providing such a pristine and serene experience. I am grateful for the memories created during our stay and look forward to returning to this idyllic getaway in the future.
