We loved this house. It's comfortable and spacious. 15 min to blowing rock. Very quiet neighborhood. Can't wait to go back. House was well stocked with everything you could need.

This was such a great stay! Great property in a beautiful quiet community, just a short 15 min drive to downtown blowing rock. The house was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for our 3 kiddos all under age 5. The lake is beautiful. Wonderful neighborhood walks. Highly recommend.

We were choosing which cabin to rent for a long weekend before I leave for a year tour in Korea. We had a few beautiful ones that we were debating on when we noticed this cabin was called A Sweet Carolina Home. Our first dance was to Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond… so that was the clear winner. OMG!! We WILL be back again. It was amazing and we had an absolute blast. It was quiet at the cabin but close to so many fun things to do. 10/10… we will stay here again. Now that I think of it, you should book somewhere else in case that’s the weekend we plan to come back!! :)

This spacious house is in a gated community about 10 min from the center of Blowing Rock. It has all the amenities listed and all appliances are new and working well. The house and community are clean and quiet. It's very close to area attractions and lots of hiking trails. It was a great stay!

The cabin has a modern and luxury style whilst keeping its rustic charm. With views of both lake and mountains, you are in for a treat with its stunning and breathtaking vistas. The seclusion and privacy of the setting makes for a tranquil and relaxed stay. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you could possibly want and the beds are comfy. I loved the kitchen and family room with its open floor plan and light and airy feel. The downstairs game area has plenty of space for family fun. Close to Blowing Rock and easily accessible to the Blue Ridge Parkway, you won't want to leave this exquisite, beautiful retreat of a home.

BLEW away all of my expectations!! You know how you see rental pictures and cross your fingers it's a fair representation? Well, in this instance, no picture could ever do this place justice. This home is decorated beautifully, VERY well appointed, and super clean. The beds and linens are so comfortable! Sitting in the hot tub & drinking wine on the patio made our girls week here magical, as did the the hikes around the lake and shopping in the quaint downtown area. The house offers plenty of room to spread out and find privacy when you want it, and I fully intend to come back ASAP with my hubby and kids- I know they will love the pool table, bunk beds, and a TV in every room!

Beautiful and quiet gated property, well maintained. Lots of hiking trails and a lake to enjoy. The balconies are peaceful and serene. Our teens enjoyed having their own living space downstairs with games, a pool table, full size fridge and kitchenette. They enjoyed having their own Keurig coffee pot too. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of wooded areas to roam, we would stay here again if in the area.

We loved our four days at this home. The location was perfect, close to everything but far enough away from the hustle. The home is beautifully appointed- there wasn't one thing we needed that wasn't provided. We take an annual trip to enjoy the start of the Christmas season. This year, we were able to stay safe by cooking all our meals and limiting our risk by staying in this beautiful home. The home was decorated for Christmas and there was even a gift for our family to enjoy. I can't say enough about this home, it's just wonderful. My parents, husband and 2 1/2 year old had a wonderful time!

We loved this beautiful house! The community is amazing- we enjoyed hiking the trails, canoeing and fishing. Very close to Blowing Rock and Boone. The house was so clean and was stocked with everything you could ever need in the kitchen. Can't wait to go back!

We could not have been more thrilled with this home and location. The home looked brand new and was spotless. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and we enjoyed the pool table in the evenings. The location could not have been more ideal being right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway and a short drive into Blowing Rock. We would definitely return!

Our family spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home in Blowing Rock! The house was perfect and the location was ideal. We loved spending time at the lake, fishing from the dock, walking the trails in the neighborhood and exploring the creeks (my daughter's favorite!) Sweetgrass is a short hop to the Blue Ridge Parkway, so it was extremely easy and convenient to get to Boone, downtown Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and more! The kitchen was perfect and well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes and utensils. We enjoyed the game room downstairs (my kids were obsessed with the popcorn machine!), using the hot tub in the evenings and drinking coffee on the porch during the cooler mornings. We built a fire in the fireplace on our last night and kids made s'mores. All in all, we had a fantastic trip and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

What a wonderful relaxing time! We stayed at A Sweet Carolina Home. It was beautiful! The cabin is spacious with a large kitchen and game room. It was so nice to spend evenings in the hot tub and enjoy the great views! Highly recommend this awesome cabin!

This was our second time staying in Sweetgrass, first time in this house. We enjoy the all the trails and creek/lake fishing right outside your door. We also like the proximity to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. It does say that there are some kayaks for guests but I there is not clear information on how to access those. We didn't pursue it but if it something your family would like to do you may want to get the info. ahead of time. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the decks, particularly the shaded deck on the second floor. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed to cook a few light meals. In some rentals you may find misc. items like salt & pepper, sugar, oil, tissues, saran wrap or foil... There was none of that in this house. I don't have a problem with that but its good to know if you are stopping at the store on the way in or want to bring a few things from home. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable and we would definitely book again.

This house is in a great little gated community. I liked that it wasn't on the side of a cliff and so kids could walk around and explore the neighborhood. We also felt the house had a great setup for kids with a rec room on the bottom floor and the two bedrooms downstairs being separated by the rec room. This was one of the the best homes we have rented and the rental company was extremely responsive.

We immediately felt at home in this gorgeous place nestled in the trees a short distance from Blowing Rock. Highlights included conversations beside a cracking fire in the stone fireplace, sitting out on the spacious deck, and taking in the peace and quiet. The house is spacious yet warm, ready to host you! We will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home just minutes from the city of Blowing Rock. This treasure is nestled amongst tall pines - a true getaway from the city! Kitchen is updated with granite tops and large island, perfect for family seating. We loved the open Great Room/Dining Room combo with soaring stone FP overlooking a wooded backdrop. The porch off the Great Room is a perfect 3 season space with wonderful views of the mountains. Super convenient laundry area off the Great Room with a Powder Room. Main Level also boasts the spacious Master Bedroom and en suite Bath. Lower Level gave our family plenty of fun-time space with 2 auxiliary Bedrooms, Full BA, kitchenette and spacious Family/Game Room to gather. Plenty of sleeping space! Quiet and convenient. Highly recommend. We had a blast!
