A Bears Hill

We have tried to start a tradition of heading to different mountains for a Christmas mountain getaway. This place was perfect! It was a cute cabin with an incredible hot tub! We were able to make so many memories! The host was super responsive!

This is a beautiful cabin nestled at the Top of Boone on a quiet wooded property in a gated community. Very nice interior and great hot tub as well. Loved enjoying meals under the gazebo on the front deck/porch. Very short drive down the mountain to downtown Boone. Very responsive and helpful property management as well.

We stayed at A Bear's Hill cabin for a week of summer vacation. The cabin was cozy and clean, the kitchen well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils, and there was a nice selection of books/games to enjoy. The kids loved the PacMan machine. The cabin is only 10 minutes from Downtown Boone with easy access to the highways/trails. We had a great relaxing week and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Bears Hill. All the rooms are very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. We would rent this cabin again.

We had a great stay with our friends and our dogs. The cabin is a great size and it was very clean. Very close to downtown Boone. We loved using the fire place in the evenings and loved playing Pacman! In the winter, you most definitely need a 4WD/AWD vehicle or you will not make it up the driveway. Our friends had front wheel drive and could not make it up. There was a shovel on site and we had to dig them out. Other than that, great trip and would return!

Loved the house had a great time even though we had to leave a day early , Had bought snow tubing tickets for the week but a warm front came through ( they refunded our money) but the day before we left got 8" so we got to snow tube?

A well-appointed, clean fabulous cabin. Perfect for our large family. We enjoyed making smores by the fire, cooking on the gas grill, using the hot tub, and rocking on the porch. Short trip down to Boone and over to Blowing Rock. Loved our stay!

Beautiful home. Nice, quiet, peaceful area. Very clean. Very comfortable and cozy. Plenty of room. Sitting outside by the fire watching the lightening bugs was by far the most relaxing time I've had in a long time. Grandfather mountain was such a beautiful ride and exhilarating walk across the bridge. We all loved that experience. Dan'l Boone restaurant is really nice. Blowing Rock was fun. The home is close to both so you'll enjoy a nice day trip. Home is beautiful !! I'd love to stay their again.

Perfect place to stay close to town (10 min drive to king street) with an isolated feel! The home was very clean and was even better than the pictures! The long driveway allows parking for multiple cars. I would recommend this place and would stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Everything was perfectly clean and well stocked. The weekend was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was easy to use and working great. Make sure to bring your K-cups and bottled water for the Keurig machine. A great dog-friendly cabin!

Our family rented your cabin for an Easter weekend getaway - our daughter is a student at App and couldn't get home so we decided to come to her! The cabin was so cozy, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Our dog loved chasing her ball in the front yard too. The close proximity to everything was a plus. It was the perfect Christmas in your beautiful cabin! And an added bonus it snowed! Our very first white Christmas! We are from Alabama so we don't see much snow! ? Oh, and the cabin being decorated for Christmas was so nice! The cabin was very clean and so cozy. We would definitely stay again!

A Bear's Hill was a beautiful cozy cabin in the mountains. The cabin was well clean, equipped and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax for a family of six. The location just above Boone was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cabin was cozy, welcoming and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Tons of towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Only issue we had was the written directions were difficult to follow b/c there were some missing street signs and some streets marked differently than indicated. Using GPS works great and gets you right to the destination! Gas logs fantastic, great internet and TV reception. Excellent outside area to walk our small dog.

My family of 7 rented this cabin for the Thanksgiving holiday. The pictures on the website do not do this cabin justice. This is your quintessential mountain home…from the bear theme touches to the App State nods…we truly felt like someone shared their home with us. The kitchen is well stocked and not just with your basic cooking ware…they seriously had everything we needed. The house is way larger than the pictures make it feel. The loft was perfect for our kids…we had the grandparents with us and let them have the bedrooms on the first floor and the rest of our family (two parents, two teenagers and a 7 year old) were able to comfortably spread out in the loft with MORE than enough room to spare (the video games helped as well!) With the full bath and huge bedroom up there it felt like our own separate little suite. The owners had even decorated the cabin for Christmas – it was absolutely an unexpected but wonderful and thoughtful touch. Our only regret is that because of the weather we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities and space as much as we'd have liked to (still managed to use the hot tub though!). Prior to coming here, we thought we had found our favorite mountain rental but this cabin has definitely taken it's spot…we can't wait to return.

My family and I spent a wonderful, much needed vacation at Bear Hill. From the moment we arrived we felt "at home". Everything was cozy and the home was very clean. We enjoyed the feeling of seclusion with the ability to still go into town for meals or to enjoy the local activities. We plan to come back in the fall!

I am happy to leave a review for Bear Hill via email. My family and I had a great time staying in the very cozy and comfortable cabin. The house was so nice and had everything we needed for a weekend in the mountains. We loved the little pond across the street and it was awesome seeing deer in the yard first thing in the morning. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains with family and friends. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was also super easy to work with and provided all the information we needed for the weekend!

We rented this cabin for Family Weekend at ASU with another family and thoroughly enjoyed it! The front porch was a beautiful retreat in the mornings with a cup of coffee, the adults relaxed in the hot tub, our kids played cards under the gazebo on the front porch in the evening, comfortable bedrooms and close proximity to campus made this the perfect location!

We rented the cabin at Bear Hill for our family the weekend of homecoming for App State. The cabin was great! Everyone enjoyed their stay. The grand-daughters liked the hot tub. We were constantly being visited by the neighbors (deers, no bears).

We loved our July stay in this lovely home. It's a short drive down the mountain into the heart of Boone and 5 minutes to Howard's knob, one of our favorite spots. Great porch area- with a gate so our little kids would stay on the porch- large yard for kids to play and nice little pond right across the street. Hot tub was nice in the evening. Plenty of room for parking. Check in and check out was quick and easy with Blue Ridge. Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen all well stocked with what you'd expect in a rental house.

We had a fantastic vacation at the Bear Hill rental. Please tell the owners they have a beautiful home and the amenities are top-notch. The details and decorations were perfect. Quality kitchenware, a beautiful Weber gas-grill, comfortable bedding, I could go on and on! We truly loved it and will definitely rent the same property again! I loved getting up early with the kids and sitting under the gazebo on the front porch sipping coffee to the quiet mountain sounds......so relaxing. We absolutely LOVED Bear Hill and felt that the owners had pretty much thought of everything! The furniture was very nice and it had a nice warm cabin feel. Loved the baby gate on the porch, pack and play came into use for the 2 year old, nice pots and pans, and of course the hot tub was awesome! I even loved their dishes. Haha. My family and I stayed at Bear Hill in Boone the week of July 4th. The cabin was beautiful and so was the view. This was my second rental from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and I will definitely rent from them again. The only disappointment we had all week was the rainy weather, but at least we had a beautiful, comfortable cabin to stay dry in. We loved the large front porch and of course the hot tub!
