We took the kids to go tubing at Hawksnest and found this cute rental located 5 minutes away. Peaceful and clean with a great view. Would be hard to find but renters had a detailed map in their email. Would rent again.

This was a beautiful home with fantastic views, our family had great fun staying here. We enjoyed building puzzles and taking a short walk to Otter Falls. We were very pleased with everything and the one call to management was taken care of very quickly. I would love to stay here in the winter months I bet this area is beautiful with snow.

1 2 Remember was a nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Otter Falls was walking distance and the group loved the hike. Deer, turkeys, chipmunk and birds were spotted by delighted kids. Bedrooms were comfortable, living areas spacious, and the porches used by all.

1-2 Remember was an amazing retreat with everything multiple families needed for a great and memorable getaway. The views are people the most stunning of any house we've stayed in. You are in Grandfather mountain's backyard with a lot of privacy and easy access to otter trail for hiking without having to drive. There are 3 levels to the house so it allows for plenty of room for a large group to spread out and congregate. There is a gorgeous firepit and hot tub but sadly we did not get to use either due to burn notice and weather but loved knowing this is an option for future visits. Owners were extremely responsive before, during, and after our stay which was fantastic. Would highly recommend this spot for any families needing an escape.

1 2 remember was a great location for our sons 12 birthday weekend! We had 7 people total and we loved the space the house provided. The views are spectacular and we took advantage of being so close to Otter falls for hiking! Beds were comfy and all slept well. All the kitchen items you could need to cook at home. Loved seeing pictures of the family, thank you for allowing other families to enjoy the solitude and peace the mountains bring.

We celebrated a landmark birthday for my wife at 1-2 Remember. The house was beautiful, clean and the private. If the weather is nice, access to the house is easy in any vehicle. The best part of the house is the million dollar view from the hot tub. Pictures don't do it justice! I look forward to staying at this house again in the future. It is definitely "one to remember".

From snow tubing at hawks nest, to dining in Banner Elk, to roasting marshmallows by the fire, to stargazing in the hot tub, this truly was a trip to remember. I cannot wait to return!

This cabin was very clean and comfortable, had all the amenities we could want and has wonderful views off the back decks. It is 2 minutes from tubing at Hawksnest and about 15 to skiing at Sugar Mountain. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed a perfect pre-Christmas vacation complete with cozy fireside games, hiking, puzzles, ping pong and trips to hot tub. Would love to visit again!

Loved everything about this place. It was a large house for our family of 5, but we appreciated and used the space on the one rainy day we had in the mountains. The house is very well-appointed. I loved that the kitchen had every appliance and accessory and that there was a gas grill right on the deck since we mostly cooked our meals during these Covid times. There are many thoughtful touches, like multiple hiking guides and lots of puzzles and board games. The hot tub and porches looking directly into the mountains were super too. We also loved the fire pit and ping pong table. The road leading up to the house is steep and the last bit is gravel. Totally doable in a car during the summer, but a 4x4 would be better in the winter. The best part of this house is that you are a 15 minute walk to Otter Falls. Have never stayed at a place where you can go on a hike to a waterfall directly out the door from your place. It made the place really special and super. We saw a mama bear and cubs outside our door our last night there. Would recommend using the bear bell outside the front door at dawn and dusk.

We absolutely loved this cabin . It had everything that you would need to enjoy yourself. Just bring food and clothes and enjoy . The view of Grandfather mountain was beautiful to wake up to . The hot tub was a Relaxing finish a day of sightseeing.This cabin was spacious enough for our four adult children and their kids and us to enjoy comfortably . We will definitely visit it again

We spent a few days over the 4th of July holiday at this beautiful home. We appreciated the cooler weather and took advantage of it by having breakfast & dinner on the deck each day. We enjoyed the amazing view of Grandfather Mountain while relaxing in the hot tub. Although there are other homes close by you are secluded and have privacy. The location is close to many attractions. We spent time hiking around Linville Falls & Grandfather Mountain. Our Australian Shepherd dog also enjoyed this trip very much ?

EXACTLY what we were looking for: Our family felt as if this house was the perfect balance of rest and activity. Restful because of the wonderful view of Grandfather Mountain throughout the house with the well-appointed windows and french doors (and Jacuzzi tub!!!). Activity because we walked to Otter Falls and explored different trails to and from there to the cabin/house every single day we were here. We didn't need our car. I loved the forest, creek and simplicity of being here. We will be back!!!

This place definitely lived up to its name. The view of the mountains from the back porch was just incredible. We enjoyed everything this place had to offer - from the ping pong table to the hot tub. Hiking the Otter Falls was very enjoyable. All in all, an absolutely wonderful place which made for an amazing vacation. When we got to '1-2 Remember' my jaw was dropped the entire time! Ended up spending entirely too much time staring at the gorgeous lookout of the mountains. To place it in the simplist of terms - '10/10 we will get away again.' This was our first and not the last to North Carolina. The places we visited, the cabin we stayed, and the service received were all great. Blue Ridge Mountain Rental were very professional and helpful, things happen exactly as they tell you, your payment is taken at the rate and time they explain in their contract, there is not surprises. They go the extra mile so customers feel like at home. The house was neat and organized, close to many trails, with a breathtaking view, I can say enough about it. We can not wait until the winter comes to visit it again, if possible the same cabin. You wont regret the experience and the family will always remember it.

We rented 1-2 Remember for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Appalachian State. We loved our entire stay at 1-2 Remember! The views were gorgeous, the property very private and wooded. The house was extremely clean and the modern kitchen well stocked with every gadget needed! We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We loved the rustic decor, comfortable beds, and tasteful furnishings.The view from the decks was amazing, just as shown in the photo. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was as described and shown on the Blue Ridge Rentals Website. Checking in was very easy and the agency sent us detailed information prior to our stay. We saw deer and a bear! The hike to the waterfalls on the property was an added bonus. We would love to return someday soon!

The 1-2 Remember Cabin was very quiet, with a great view of Grandfather Mtn, etc. We will definitely be returning to this property in the future on a regular basis. We found our "home away from home" in this beautiful setting; that gave us the feeling of being surrounded by mountains and nature. The location convenience to many of the attractions was super. It is a very well kept property inside and out. The reservation personnel certainly made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. They were very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. Great team!

We simply loved the solitude and the super view of the mountain. Close to the attractions and activities we were interested in - golfing, hiking, Grandfather mountain, use of tennis court, etc. The house is beautiful and spacious.
