Carolina Charm has three bedrooms but also has two additional private sleeping areas.
Welcome to Carolina Charm, a wonderfully constructed log cabin home in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone, Blowing Rock, and Valle Crucis, NC.
Set amid tall pines and mature hardwoods, its heavily wooded, 2.5 acre setting will feel secluded and serene yet Carolina Charm is only minutes from Boone, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store). Other nearby amenities include the Willow Valley Golf Course, which is open to the public; a community playground; and numerous great places to hike. Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian State and other major High Country attractions are short rides away.
Offering 5 sleeping areas and 3 full baths on three levels, Carolina Charm can accommodate up to 14 guests. A special feature of this home is that it offers two dens and two master bedroom suites.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains in this tastefully decorated High Country retreat. Comfortable furniture and the owner's personal touches will get you in the vacation mood. Turn on the gas logs in the beautiful stone fireplace and sit back and savor the moment. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the 50" HDTV above the fireplace.
If you've got a taste for the outdoors, grab one of the several rocking chair on the wraparound front porch or enjoy a soak in the oh-so-relaxing hot tub and listen to the birds in the trees nearby. You're in for a treat with the gorgeous mountain views from the front porch. Your whole family will enjoy eating outside on the picnic table!
The kitchen has been stocked with everything you need, whether you're preparing a large group meal or a romantic dinner for two. Bring your favorite K-cups or grounds for coffee. Take in those great views from the dining table while you eat!
This home has been designed with the comfort of its guests foremost in mind. All bedrooms and both dens have cable TV. There are also several DVD players throughout the home and all TVs can accommodate your favorite game system. Even the littlest guests have been remembered, with the inclusion of a high chair and a baby gate.
Get a great night's sleep in the King-sized bed in the extra roomy master bedroom on the upper level. Snuggle up with your favorite book (and maybe catch a nap) in the overstuffed loveseat in its cozy sitting area.
In the other upstairs bedroom, you and your guests can enjoy your choice of 12 games on the Midway arcade. This bedroom also has a Queen-sized bed. The two guest bedrooms on the main level of this home feature one Queen-sized bed and two Queen-sized beds respectively. The second master bedroom with a full bath and a King-sized bed is located on the lower level; you'll also find the second den with a pool table, cable TV and a gas-log fireplace system. There are 2 twin blow-ups available in closets.

- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- PET FEE: $25 PER NIGHT PER PET (MAX OF 4 DOGS ALLOWED). MATURE SMALL DOGS ONLY PLEASE
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

The Carolina Cabin is located in a beautiful, quiet wooded area with a remote feel, but it is surprisingly close to both Boone and Banner Elk. The upper and lower king suite bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with a private feel. The middle queen bedrooms provided easy access for our senior guests. We especially enjoyed the outside areas of the cabin including the porches, rocking chairs and hot tub. The firepit area was outstanding with level ground, plenty of chairs and a large stone & metal ring pit. The grandchildren loved making smores over the open fire on the cold evening nights. Carolina Charm is exceptional! Our family loved it, and everyone wants to come back. The cabin has everything you need, about as well stocked as any place we've rented. This home is great, The views are extraordinary. The wrap around deck mid level was over the top, The amount of effort put into the interior decorations made me believe the owners must have been planning on living here instead of placing it on the market for us to enjoy. This house was so big and comfortable. We had 2 couples, and 3 single people. We all had privacy and plenty of space. We got to enjoy the hot tub, indoor fireplace, and outdoor fireplace. It was so fun with the amenities, being able to enjoy the different parts of the house. The game room downstairs was the perfect place to hang out, play pool, and enjoy each others company. I would highly recommend this house. I also would highly recommend this house. They let me check in early, without me having to ask. They notified me hours before out check in that it was clean and we were welcome to go. Carolina Charm is a fantastic house that is just minutes away from Boone and Banner Elk. We loved being close to Vale Crucis and their wonderful park which is great for kids and walking dogs. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars. Incredible location, secluded but close to everything at the same time, hot tub facing a killer view. The stay was great and the view was beautiful. The pictures do not do this home justice. It was comfortable and just an awesome getaway for my large party. The renters provided us with everything we needed and if we had questions I used the Airbnb app with an almost immediate response. Girls weekend trip! The serenity and location was awesome! Got to go for a walk that felt like a hike every morning with my dog. The hot tub, pool table, and firepit allowed us to enjoy hanging out without having to leave the property. Sleep space was perfect. We had a wonderful stay at Carolina Charm. The owners have certainly thought of everything from a hot tub, to games, puzzles, ping pong, pool table, and corn hole boards. The place was clean and nicely laid out for multiple families. Bedrooms were spacious enough to use blow up mattress on most bedroom floors (although we did not need to). This was the most amazing trip we have ever taken. The home really met our needs for a family gathering with private areas on each floor but plenty of gathering spaces and games. The fire pit was great and hot tub used a lot during our stay. We could not have chosen better accommodations for our moms and sons getaway. In addition to all the fun activities in the area from tubing to ziplining, great dining to fun shopping, beautiful hikes to stocked fishing holes...we found the house to have everything we could want to keep entertained rain or shine. Our recent stay at Carolina Charm was AMAZING! The home was clean and inviting. There were so many extras in the home: games, puzzles, books, movies! These extra touches made us feel right at home! We had family game time every evening before relaxing by the fire pit (which I might add was PERFECT!) Our family rented Carolina Charm through Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for a large family. The house offered amenities that were a perfect match for our family gathering. We have rented from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for several years. The last three have been in Carolina Charm and we all love it. If there is any problems with the property it is quickly resolved. Really enjoyed our stay. We went with a group of friends and brought our 3 and 5 year old. It was nice that the pool table was on the bottom floor and the room where the kids stayed was on the third floor.
